So, first off let me formally introduce myself. My name is Chris Martin. I am basically the man behind the scenes. I’ve setup and customized numerous websites, blogs, and forums. I’ve run communities of upwards of 5000 members and established a network of people, prior to this social media revolution. So let me just say… it’s not to hard. Takes a little bit of time, perseverance, and naturally the right platform to sustain it.
We here at Mad Mortgage World have received numerous emails regarding the great debate of which blogging platform to use. Most of us are going to be biased in our opinion because of the fact that this great site runs off of Wordpress. My official opinion, because of the large bribe sent by Wordpress is that no other platform has the community and support around it quite like our dear friends. (Kidding about the bribe)
To be blunt, Typepad and Wordpress are both equally great platforms, but I believe I can count up to about 30 other platforms well worth our time. For time sake and peer pressure, we’ll stick with the two of the biggest guns. The features of both Wordpress and Typepad are virtually identical. There are thousands of posts comparing the two if you do a simple search on Google. No side will win the war, it’s just a matter of preference and convenience. I do suggest sticking to one of these two, just because they are going to be the easiest to get into and will provide the most amount of support due to the large communities attached to them.
A few things to note however:
Again, I’m not telling you which way to go, but I will at least narrow down your options. I didn’t want to go into any real technical details on this post, because honestly, who has time for that?! Test them both yourself, let me know which one you prefer!

Hey,
So most people won’t care, but others will love me. We spent a few hours last night going through schedules and availability trying to organize the shoots. We’ve spaced some of it out because of our cast and crew having such a busy summer. We will plan on most of these shots getting done sooner and quicker… but just to be safe we split the episodes up as much as possible to make it easier on the actors involved and also to not tie up everyone’s summer. However, again… we hope to get more shot on some of these days and shorten the entire project. We’ll see how it goes though. Please email me with any questions…
June 15th —— 3:30pm — 6:00pm —— Go through second episode and start rehearsal on the “Meet and Greet” scene in episode 1. (Probably will be the hardest, other scenes we aren’t setting a rehearsal/blocking time out for, other scenes will take place day of shoot)
June 20th —— Off
June 21st —— Off
June 29th —— 3:00 — 7:00pm —— First day of shooting; “Meet and Greet”, “Smith’s Entrance” — Everyone will need to be there.
July 4th —— Off
July 5th —— Off
July 12th —— 1:00pm — 5:00pm —— Shoot; “Title Company” — Craig Only
July 13th —— 3:00pm — 6:00pm —— Shoot; “Closings & Coffee” — Everyone
July 20th —— 3:00pm — 6:00pm —— Shoot; “Go Get Craig” “Indy Scene” — Office Manager & Processor
July 26th or 27th —— ??? —– Shoot; “Possible Finale” & “The Big Speech”

So we have finally finished auditions, which is surprisingly a daunting, yet highly entertaining task. The cast couldn’t be better if we had went to Hollywood herself. (ok… I lied) We are extremely lucky to have such a high level of talent involved in this project. We are working on the shooting schedule right now and hope to have it published and finalized as soon as possible. The teaser trailer is being edited right now, should be ready for your viewing pleasure in the next couple weeks. Our marketing guru is also putting the finishing touches on our Mad Mortgage World Movie Poster. (Pre-order NOW!!) HA! We actually might consider it, if the demand is high enough. In the meantime check out our wonderful cast below!
Character ———– Actor/Actress
Morgan Tuesday ———— Rachael Weinstein
Jamie ———— Erin Rose
Craig Sanchez ———— JT Wakefield
Riley Kane ———— Molly Lynn — Check this out too! Ha!
Gary Sutterhorn ———— Special Guest Appearance
Aloysius Smith ———— Currently In Development
Thanks again to everyone that is making this possible.

Hey Everyone!
We are officially launching our web series this month and are looking for a talented cast and crew to assist us in this exciting venture. Open auditions are this Saturday (05/17/08) at 1pm. If you are in the Denver Metropolitan area, you can contact me if you are interested and I’ll send over the synopsis and character details for you to look over. Sky Focus Pictures has offered to assist us, so this is going to be a great experience, you don’t want to miss it. For everyone else, I’ll post an update once we begin filming and share the secrets behind the scenes of “MAD Mortgage.”
Thank you all for your support!
